Free tobacco cessation services offered starting next week

The WheelerHealth & WellnessCenter at 10 North Main Street, Bristol, offers free tobacco cessation services for individuals interested in quitting tobacco use beginning the week of May 5. Wheeler’s tobacco cessation program includes eight group sessions offered in the morning or evening. Services are available in English or Spanish. Participants receive free nicotine replacement products such as the nicotine replacement patch or gum and free tobacco cessation medications. This program utilizes the American Lung Association’s “Freedom From Smoking” curriculum, and funding is provided through the Tobacco and Health Trust Fund by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
