By John Goralski Sports Writer The Wildcats edged past Bristol Community College for a two-point victory on Saturday, Dec. 7 to snap a three game losing streak—their longest of the early season. With one game remaining before the winter break, Lincoln College is in striking distance of the program’s 10th win. The local team is 9-5 with one more chance to reach 10 wins, and that has fans wondering how good this team can be. Last year, the Wildcats tied a program record with 12 wins, but they were only 4-6 at the semester break. Last season the Wildcats scored their second postseason bid in a row to set a program record, and at 9-5 it seems like that trend is already secure. How good is Lincoln College? That will depend on the second half, but the team has already beaten a team that was ranked in the nation’s top 10.
