By Lisa Capobianco Staff Writer Randy’s Wooster Street Pizza on Center Street now has a new owner and a new name. Frank LaRosa, a restaurant broker and specialist, recently took over ownership of Randy’s Wooster Street pizza on 131 Center Street, across from Paul Gregory’s. He changed the name to Brixx Pizza Kitchen, adding a delivery service and changing the décor. “I want to offer good products and a good atmosphere to fellow residents in town,” said LaRosa, who purchased the property in mid-October. LaRosa previously developed and owned Quinn’s Tavern in Plantsville and the Fire Place Restaurant. Well known for his knowledge of consumer trends, LaRosa also played a role in the relocation of several eateries. Restaurants in town that LaRosa has represented as a restaurant broker include Randy’s Wooster Street Pizza, Beijing, Ponderosa Steak House, The Carousel, Nardelli’s, Pepper Jack’s, and Puket Cafe. “I like the action of it. It never gets boring,” said LaRosa, the owner of Alliant Restaurant Brokers, LLC. “No two days are alike.” LaRosa knew he wanted to work in the restaurant business since high school.
