On Tuesday, Dec. 15, Plainville traveled to Tolland (2-0) where they fell short by seven points, 50-43. A few days later, the Devils hosted Platt (1-1) in their first home game of the season on Friday, but suffered a 59-33 loss. Caitlin Barker led the Devils with 10 points and four field goals. Jess Masco contributed with eight points and Amiyah Peters with six. Plainville was 11-18 from the foul line and made 10 field goals. Jasmin Mitchell of Platt led all scorers with 13 points on four field goals, while the Gordils sisters [Lyn-Jeanette, Jayleena] were right behind with 11. The loss moved the Devils to 2-0 on the season (0-1 in CCC South-White. Next up for the Devils are three straight home games, starting with Wethersfield (0-2) on Monday, Dec. 21, Maloney (1-1) on Wednesday, Dec. 23, and Sacred Heart Academy (1-0) on Monday, Dec. 28.
