Thursday, Sept. 24, 7 p.m., in the Café at the library café. No registration required. Southington notables, including Town Manager Garry Brumback, Councilor Cheryl Lounsbury, Town Attorney Mark Sciota, and representatives from the Literacy Volunteers as well as, educators, Library staff and Board of Directors, and others will read selections from their favorite banned or challenged books as part of Banned Books Week. Light refreshments will be available. Life Reimagined Checkup Session workshop. Friday, Sept. 25, 11 a.m. Registration is required. Reimaging your life can mean new passions to pursue, work that’s rewarding, great people to connect with and a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle. This session offers a personalized, authentic and thought-provoking approach to help you navigate the next phase of your life. Road to Livability workshop.
