The State of Connecticut Department of Public Safety have identified the victims of yesterday’s fatal accident on I-84 eastbound just west of the Queen Street exit. The vehicle, driven by Annmarie Olender, 16, of Plantsville, was reported to be traveling in the left lane on I-84 eastbound when it left the roadway and struck a wire rope guide rail in the left shoulder area. The vehicle then entered an embankment area, where it overturned and struck a tree. Both occupants, Olender and Olivia Fusco, 14, of Southington were pronounced deceased on scene. Police are still asking anyone who witnessed this collision to contact Trooper William Bevans at Troop H at (860) 534-1000, ext. 6136.
