Officials from Lake Compounce have announced their annual July 4 fireworks display over the lake. This year’s show, produced by Pyrotecnico, will begin with a laser light show at 9 p.m. followed by a fireworks display launched from positions on floating barges and a land launch on the far side of the lake. Beginning on July 3, the newly-redesigned and magical laser light show, ‘Illuminate the Night’, will light up the night sky every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through Aug. 23. Produced by Lasertainment in Minnesota, a 50-foot water wall will veil across the lake with simultaneous synchronized music, projections, and lasers. “Fireworks are an annual tradition for us, and our guests come out in droves to celebrate with us,” Lake Compounce General Manager Jerry Brick said in a press release. “By adding the laser light show, we hope to provide that same level of excitement for our guests all summer long.” In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be July 11. Any weather delay will be announced online at www.lakecompounce.com and on the park’s Facebook page.
