By LINDSAY CAREYSTAFF WRITER The Greater Southington Chamber of Commerce has invited University of Connecticut women’s basketball coach Geno Auriemma to speak at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville on Monday, April 20. Auriemma just recently opened a restaurant called Geno’s Grille in downtown Southington. “This is going to be a home run for the chamber to have Geno Auriemma probably ten days after the national championship,” said Chamber of Commerce President Art Secondo. “So let’s take advantage and support the chamber on this.” Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner at 7:45 p.m. NBC30 Sports Director Kevin Nathan will be the master of ceremony. Tickets cost $50 for chamber members ($60 for guests). Tickets are available at the chamber office in Factory Square or call them at (860) 628-8036.
