–Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman and Department of Veterans’ Affairs Commissioner Linda Schwartz announced that nominations are being accepted for the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame. Ten Connecticut veterans who have made significant community contributions after leaving military service will join 92 past-year inductees and be instated into the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame in November 2014. “Connecticut’s Veterans Hall of Fame is one way we honor our veterans and highlight just how important they are to our communities and our nation,” said Wyman in a press release. “Even after years of service in our Armed Forces, these men and women continue to give back, investing their time and energy in our communities and our future.
