On Saturday, March 8, Team Clean Water and the Knights of Columbus held a pasta dinner fundraiser at the Knights of Columbus to raise money for a non-profit called Charity: Water, which brings awareness to the problem of bad drinking water and raises money to build drinking water wells in third world countries (over 5,000 people die every day due to consumption of bad drinking water and the lack of clean water). Team Clean Water and Knights of Columbus of Bristol Palos Council 35 raised $2,168 to donate specifically towards building a drinking water well in Kenya.
