Family Sunday programs offered at Carousel Museum

The New EnglandCarouselMuseum is offering new Family Sunday programs for children and their parents for 2014. Each month, the museum will be offering a unique educational and entertaining program designed for families and kids of all ages. Thanks to a grant from the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation, each program will be free for a selected area within the Thomaston Savings Bank region, including the towns of Bristol, Bantam, Bethlehem, Harwinton, Litchfield, Middlebury, Morris, Northfield, Plymouth, Oakville, Terryville, Thomaston, Waterbury, Watertown, and Woodbury. On Sunday, March 23 at 2 p.m., the program is “Museum Magic with the Amazing Magical Paul.” Do you like to be amazed? In this turn of the century style magic show, Amazing Magical Paul will mystify and entertain in this show inspired by the history of the carousel.  Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for children 2 to 14, and free for children under 1. It’s also free to all residents of Litchfield, Northfield, Bantam, and Morris All admissions include a free ride on a working carousel.
