BRISTOL/ SOUTHINGTON- Pink’s Hot Dogs, a fixture in Hollywood since 1939, has partnered with LakeCompounce and will open a restaurant in the park, across from the Carousel this May. A press release from Compounce said Pink’s, a family owned business, was named by Fox News as number one in a list of Top Ten Hot Dog Stands in the U.S. It attracts celebrities including Jay Leno, Martha Stewart, and Food Network superstars Giada de Laurentiis and Guy Fieri just to name a few. This will be the only Pink’s location on the East Coast, said the release. According to Pink’s website, PinksHollywood.com, the closest location is CedarPointAmusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio.
