Viola D. (LaRosa) Fiondella, 91, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 25, 2016. She was the wife of the late Angelo Fiondella who she was married to happily for 58 years. She was born in Meriden the daughter of the late Rafaelle and Immaculate (Mule) LaRosa. Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years by the former New Departure Bearing in Meriden. Viola recently loved cooking, gardening, doing crafts and spending time with her family and close friends. She is survived by her son David F. Fiondella Sr. and his wife Kathleen Zygmont of Southington, her daughter Donna Fiondella-Murphy and her husband Stephen Murphy of West Hartford she also leaves a grandson David F. Fiondella Jr and several nieces and nephews including Nicholas Kirychuk and special friends Carmel Tkacz and Dorothy Charrette. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
