Edward J. Dziedzic, 92, of Burlington, widower of Anna (Sakowski) Dziedzic, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Bristol Hospital. Edward was on December 22, 1923 and was a son of the late Stanley and Catherine Dziedzic. He lived in Burlington for most of his life and proudly served as an Army Medic in WW II at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a carpenter of Art Hamm and retired as an employee of St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, and was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Bristol. He is survived by his nephew; Rev. Gerald H. Dziedzic; two sisters-in-law: Ethel and Eleanor Dziedzic and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brothers; Alexander, Benjamin, Henry and John; and his sister Jennie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, 11 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St. Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
