Sarla Devi Nigam, 72, of Southington, passed away Monday, Jan 11, 2016 at the Apple Rehab in Plainville. She was the wife of Rishi Nigam. She was born Dec. 12, 1943 in Gonda Dist.,U.P., India the daughter of the late Ramdeo and Har Kunwar Nigam. She had been the owner and operator of Videorama of Southington. Besides her husband she is survived by her sons, Shantul and his wife Kavita of Avon and Vivek and his wife Peggy of Cheshire, and her 4 grandchildren, Ujala, Kharn, Vishal and Anisha. She also leaves a bother Raj Kumar and his wife Usha of Cheshire. She was predeceased by 3 siblings, Sushila, Madhu, and Nand Kumar. Calling hours will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. A procession will follow to Walnut Grove Crematorium.
