David Kingsbury, 48, of Southington, turned himself in at the Southington Police Department at approximately 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22 after learning there was an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant stemmed from a sexual assault incident that occurred in Southington on Sept. 16, 2015. The warrant alleges that Kingsbury was working as a massage therapist at the Healing Hands and Body Works Therapeutic Massage on Queen Street in Southington when he allegedly sexually assaulted the victim. At the time of the assault, the victim was a patron of the business. Kingsbury was processed and charged with fourth degree sexual assault, and he was released on a $10,000 bond. He was given an appearance date of Jan. 4, 2016 at the Bristol Court. The warrant was sealed at the time of the arrest and no further details will be released.
