State Representative Frank Nicastro Sr. joined Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, state and military officials, at the recent dedication of The Connecticut State Veterans Memorial in Hartford’s Minuteman Park. The dedication ceremony was held in front of the entrance of the William A. O’Neill Armory in Hartford. Nicastro, vice chairman of the legislature’s Veterans’ Committee, noted that the dedication paid tribute to all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and the men and women ‘who have served our country.’ In a press release, Nicastro said that anyone driving to Hartford should consider visiting the memorial to pay their own respect to Connecticut’s veterans.
