By MICHAEL LETENDRE STAFF WRITER BRISTOL – In a matter of just four short minutes, the Bristol Eastern girls soccer team toppled cross-town rival Bristol Central on Monday, Nov. 2. In was a scoreless affair over the first 30 or so minutes of the match but three quick goals did-in the Rams as the Lancers posted a 3-0 win from the campus of Bristol Eastern in the final contest of the regular season for both squads. With the win, Eastern entered the state tournament fray with a 7-8-1 ledger while Central ended its season at 4-11-1. A whirlwind of Eastern goals, notched by Miya Croze, Mikayla Lewandowski, and Miya Laprise seemingly came one after another and the scoring spree put the game out of reach for the visiting squad. “It’s a mentality that builds over time,” said Eastern coach Roland Loranger. “When you see the better teams and how they play, that’s how you learn and that’s what we tell the kids.
