By MICHAEL LETENDRE STAFF WRITER PLAINVILLE – Homecoming for the Plainville High School football goes old school this Friday as the Blue Devils challenge Fermi of Enfield from the confines of Norton Park. No stands, no bleachers, and it’s BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket – maybe a chair too) and expect Plainville to romp the Falcons from start to finish in this throw back of football teams competing at local parks. It’s going to be a throwback event and there’s going to be plenty of fun to be had by all. But there’s football to be played and here’s the deal between the Blue Devils and Falcons: Plainville (2-3) vs. Fermi of Enfield (winless at 0-5) – CCC Division III Interdivisional showdown Location: from Norton Park, Plainville Day and Time: Friday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. Last season: The Falcons and Blue Devils did not play each other in 2014. All-Time Series: The Blue Devils tangle with Fermi for the eighth time. Plainville leads the series 4-3.
