The Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce opens for its 25th season on Oct. 2 and is celebrating this momentous year by hosting its first ever Cosplay Event. The Cosplay Event will allow participants to dress up as their favorite fictional characters from a number of genres. The event is also open to the public, so guests don’t have to be dressed in costumes to observe the creativity. The event will occur on Oct. 3 and Oct. 4, from 4 to 8 p.m on both days. The event will consist of two contests, a Craftsmanship contest and a Photography contest in which the winner of each contest will be awarded the grand prize of $500. To enter either contest, guests must purchase a ticket to the Haunted Graveyard Cosplay Event online for a special discounted price of $19.99, or pay $24.99 at the gate.
