Well, Miss USA Erin Brady offered up some advice on that very subject at the finals for Miss Connecticut USA in Stamford on Nov. 17. Brady, a Portland, Conn. native, was working as an accountant before she was crowned Miss Connecticut USA last year. She subsequently wowed the nation by winning the Miss USA crown. And the Nutmegger then went on to place in the top 10 at Miss Universe, which was held in Moscow earlier this month. So, given all of those crowns and almost crowns, she clearly knows her gowns. At the state pageant, on-stage, Erin was asked what it takes to find a gown for Miss Universe. “So you go through a lot of different gowns,” said Erin. “But then there’s that one you put on and it’s like, ‘Yeah, this is it.’ Then you take it off and put on a couple of more than you put that one back on and say, ‘Yeah, this is the one I’m going to wear.” And that gown that wins you [...]
