On Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 the Southington High School football program will be hosting a Veteran’s Appreciation Night on Fontana Field. This is an opportunity to acknowledge all those veterans, whether active duty, National Guard, or Reserve who have served on behalf of the United States of America. Veterans should arrive by 6:45 p.m. and will be gathering at the entrance gate at the north end zone. The game against Manchester is scheduled to kick-off at 7 p.m. Veterans will be on the field during pregame activities and will also be involved in the coin toss as honorary captains.
