Plantsville Congregational Church at 109 Church St. in Plantsville will resume the normal Sunday service schedule at 10 a.m., beginning Sunday, Sept. 6th. The church office will be open Mondays to Fridays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition, Plantsville Congregational Church will hold its annual Rally Day on Sunday, Sept. 13, beginning at 10 a.m. This will be the first day of Sunday School for ages pre-school to grade 12, and the beginning of Plantsville Congregational’s 150th anniversary celebration. Following the worship service, Marie Secondo, curator of the Barnes Museum, will speak about life in Plantsville in 1865 and the challenges of starting a new church at that time.
