Tunxis Community College on Scott Swamp Road in Farmington will hold a “Super Saturday Registration Blitz” on Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the 100 Building to help students choose courses and register for fall semester. Part of the Connecticut Community Colleges “Super Saturday Registration Blitz” hosted by the 12 CT community colleges, the Tunxis event will offer one-stop assistance in the registration process and with class schedules, course selection, financial aid, placement testing (for those who arrive prior to 12 p.m.) and other matters. Application fee waivers may be available. Those who have not yet applied for admission should bring a high school diploma or GED, immunization records, and unofficial college transcripts. Students who haven’t already applied for financial aid are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid immediately.
