Sean Victory, 19, of Cheshire turned himself in to the Southington Police Department on Wednesday, July 22 after learning that there was a warrant for his arrest. The warrant stemmed from a burglary/larceny incident that occurred in the Southington on March 31, 2014. The warrant alleges that Victory was involved in a burglary at the Rock and Smoke shop located at 1173 Queen St. The police investigation showed that the burglary occurred when a suspect forced entry into the business by breaking the plate glass window with a blunt object. During the burglary, a glass showcase was damaged and several glass smoking pipes were reported stolen. Victory was linked to the burglary through DNA evidence. He was charged with third degree burglary, third degree larceny, first degree criminal mischief, and possession of burglar’s tools. He was released on a $5,000 bond with an Aug. 3 appearance date in court.
