Michael and Barbara Bartlett of Southington are honored to announce the engagement of Amanda Y. Bartlett of Southington, daughter of Michael and Barbara Bartlett and granddaughter of Carol P. Brown of Southington and Rita Bartlett of Plantsville, to Shawn M. Brennan of Southington, son of William and Donna Brennan of Southington and grandson of William Henninger of Southington. Amanda graduated from Southington High School in 2009 and earned a visual and performing art degree and early childhood education degree from Naugatuck Valley Community College. She is employed at Northwest Children’s Center as the head teacher and at Imagine Studio as the head dance instructor. Shawn graduated from Southington High School in 2009 and earned an automotive technician degree from Naugatuck Valley Community College. He is employed at Crowley Volkswagon as an automotive technician. A May 2016 wedding is planned.
