The Arc of Southington has announced its fifth annual town wide tag sale on Saturday, Sept. 12. (The rain date will be Sunday, Sept. 13). The annual event serves as a fundraiser for The Arc of Southington. The town-wide event will span sites in Southington, Plantsville, Marion, and Milldale. The tag sale is open to residents, businesses, and organizations in these towns and will be held at individual locations (with local tag sale times set by each participant). Maps are available for $1 to help plan your route in advance. Maps can be purchased at the Arc of Southington office from Tuesday, Sept. 8 to Friday, Sept 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., or can be purchased at Southington Stop & Shop or Tops Supermarket from Monday, Sept. 7 to Saturday, Sept. 12. Businesses and organizations can also promote their specials, sales, and goods by placing an ad or a business card on the list ($20).
