WATERBURY—The board of directors of Acts 4 Ministry, Inc., a non-denominational, non-profit charitable organization serving the Greater Waterbury region, has welcomed a new member, Luke Florian of Southington, an entrepreneur, author and real estate investor in the Connecticut tri-state area and Florida. “As the owner of Freedom Enterprise Holdings LLC, which purchases apartment buildings and single family homes across Connecticut, Mr. Florian has been exceedingly impactful in providing donations of useful home goods and furniture from the properties the company purchases,” Acts 4 Ministry Executive Director Sarah Elizabeth Carabetta said in a press release. “It’s been a win/win relationship for Acts 4 Ministry and Freedom Enterprise Holdings, so it is an innate match to welcome Mr. Florian’s acclaimed entrepreneurial insights and notable successes to our board.” Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. is dedicated to building relationships with people while providing them with the basics of daily living needs. “Our mission,” explained Carabetta, “is to provide individuals and families who have suddenly lost their homes to a fire, flood or other unexpected devastation or upsetting life event to come to our facility to personally select clothing, dishes, glassware, furnishings, and other basic needs at no charge.
