In a press release, the Mayor’s Office announced that Felicidad Café House, a café offering live music, social events, and healthy food, is officially open for business at 245 Main Street, former home of Bristol Hairdressing School and most recently Bristol Billiards. Felicidad Café House owner Freddy Sinchi is a local entrepreneur with a passion for life and the city he has made his home since moving here eight years ago from New York City, originally hailing from Ecuador, said the press release. He believes in Bristol, especially the downtown area where he’s seen a lot of change and growth, the release said. According to Sinchi, the release from the mayor’s office said, he knew he wanted to promote the arts, as well as health and happiness. “I am a musician, and I love to play the trumpet and make music so that people can dance and enjoy themselves, so that is my next business. I named it ‘Happiness Café’, because I want everyone to be happy and enjoy their life,” Sinchi said.
