Thomas G Mayer, of Plantsville, will be exhibiting “Florida Landscapes” from May 1 to May 31 at The Gallery at The Orchards. Mayer is a retired Connecticut art teacher with years of teaching various grade levels from Kindergarten through Adults and Special Education. He is primarily a plein-aire painter using acrylics and oils. In the wintertime, he paints down in Florida and then he paints the Connecticut shoreline in the summertime.
