On Friday night at Plantsville Elementary School, the second annual Miss and Mr. Southington Relay for Life pageant was held. The event was a fund raiser for the cancer society. Southington’s Haley Derwin received one of the highest honors of the evening, Grand Supreme, for raising over $9,000 for the cause. “I’m just blown away,” said Kimberly Beaudoin, one of the pageant organizers who served as the evening’s emcee.
