The Bristol Police Department is investigating an incident involving a suicidal man who armed himself with a knife. On Saturday officers were alerted to 6 Woodbine Street to check on a well being call, according to a press release from the Bristol Police Department. Police discovered a suicidal man who was armed with a knife at the home, the release said. At that home, police found a female who locked herself in a bedroom in response to the man’s behavior, said the release. She then was quickly removed from the home for safety, and the Central Region Emergency Response Team (CERT) responded to the incident, according to the release. The unidentified man was then apprehended without incident, said the release.
