The annual Southington Italian-American Festival, sponsored by the Sons of Italy and Southington UNICO, has announced that the 2015 festival will take place July 24-26. The 2015 festival will celebrate 11 years of of promoting and supporting Italian heritage and culture in our community. The event will consist of food tents and booths featuring diverse offerings, live entertainment, a homemade wine contest, an outdoor Italian mass followed by a procession with the statue of the Virgin Mary, a children’s carnival, and more. The Festival Planning Committee is currently seeking business sponsors and vendors—both food and non-food—for the event, as well as entertainers who would like to perform at the festival.
