The Plainville Town Council will conduct a Public Forum to discuss Old Linden Street School on Thursday, Feb. 5. The forum will be held in the Town Council Chambers, Room 304, in the Municipal Center at 7 p.m. The forum will begin with a review of the “Final Report and Recommendation” prepared for the Council by the Old Linden Street School Study Committee in March 2013. It will be followed by a brief presentation by Town Manager Robert Lee and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jeffrey Kitching. Citizens will have the opportunity to give input to the Town Council regarding what to do with the abandoned school property.
