The Bristol Police Department is participating in a national “Click It or Ticket” Day and Night enforcement campaign that runs from Nov. 25 to 30. Bristol police explained this campaign is billed as zero tolerance. It also encourages the enforcement of child restraint and speed violations The police department’s message to the public is, “With the 2014 holiday travel period fast approaching, the Bristol Police Department intends to promote safe driving and increase the protection of all motorists. Bristol police officers are out on the road enforcing the state occupant protection laws and issuing citations to those who are unbuckled. ‘No Excuses. Buckle Up… It’s the Law. It’s Enforced.’”
