However, despite their attempts to keep the matter private, the story is making global headlines and evolving with information from several unnamed sources. Other news outlets are reporting that the teacher was not only drunk, but also soiled himself and may have even gotten physical with a student. None of this information has been confirmed by school officials. When contacted the day following the incident, Principal Martin Semmel said he could not comment on what happened and Southington Police say that they were not involved with the incident initially.
