On Sunday, Aug. 17, Bristol police announced the Bristol Half Marathon & Relay for Fisher House will be taking place in Bristol. The race will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will last approximately three hours. It will begin and end at Healthtrax located at 842 Clark Avenue. Police officers and volunteers will be stationed along the route providing safety and traffic control for the participants. As runners will be in the roadway, motorist traveling through the area should use caution and be prepared to stop. The runners will be on the following roads: Routes 72 and 6 Clark Avenue North Main Street Race Street Matthews Street Perkins Street Hill Street James P. Casey Road Rockwell Park
