There is a temporary parking ban in effect along the Southington and Meriden town line this evening, due to the fireworks display at Hubbard Park. The roads affected are Meriden Waterbury Road, (route 322) from I-691 to the Meriden town line, both Sides of Craig Avenue, the west side of Gwen Road and the west side of Jeffery Lane. Anyone found in violation of the temporary parking ban is subject to a $35 fine and having their car towed.
