The Town of Plainville has an on-demand policy for the collection of bulk pickup. Residents who currently have curbside rubbish and recycling collection from the town can request one bulk pickup per calendar year free of charge for large items that do not fit in normal rubbish collection. Bulk collection can be scheduled Mondays, through June 30 and from Sept. 8 through Oct. 27. To schedule a pickup, call CWPM at (860)793-6721. Calls must be placed by 3 p.m. Friday to collect the following Monday.
