In a prepared statement, the Mayor advised the residents of Bristol that the extended forecast for the next several days may well move into the 90 degree range. “There are options within the city for staying cool during these hot and humid summer days,” said Ward in a press release. “The city has three public pools available for residents to use at PagePark, RockwellPark and the DennisMaloneAquaticCenter. The AquaticCenter is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, but the public will need to call for specificopen swim times. Rockwell and PagePark pool are open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., daily and the Splash Pads for children are located at Stocks, Rockwell, and PagePark, open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.,” said Ward.
