Plainville police made an arrest recently in a credit card theft case that happened last September. Plainville resident Erik R. Kristopik, 28, of 18 Atwood St., was arrested on May 5 and charged with stealing his ex girlfriend’s credit card and using it at two Home Depot locations four times between Sept. 1 and Sept. 3 last year, Plainville Lt. Eric Peterson said. The credit card was used at one of the Home Depots in Southington and used in Berlin, Peterson said however he couldn’t specify which Southington location it was used at. Kristopik was held on a $2,500 bond and was charged with two counts of credit card theft, third degree identity theft and two counts of sixth degree larceny. He was expected to appear in Bristol court on May 6.
