A Bristol man was arrested last weekend after West Hartford police said he was involved in a fight that broke out at Goldroc Diner in West Hartford. According to a press release, the incident happened on June 29 at a little after 3 a.m., when a fight broke out after someone had mistaken the identity of another person for Aaron Hernandez, the former Patriots athlete who has been charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd. The release said someone at the diner yelled “Hey, Aaron Hernandez,” and another person in a different party, who police say may have been with Aaron’s brother D.J. Hernandez, yelled at that person to shut up and then the fight broke out. Police arrested Alberto Lopez, 30, of 200 Blakeslee St., in Bristol; Jesus Agosto, 36, of New Britain and Thomas Miller, 30, of Torrington, and were charged each with third-degree assault, breach of peace, and third-degree criminal mischief, the release said. Police also said they learned Lopez and Miller may have been sitting with D.J., who had no involvement in the fight. Three individuals, Lopez and Miller and a female sitting at a nearby table, sustained injuries but declined medical attention.
